Rules this bot always follows
Words used here
- Paper money
- Pretend money. The prices are real, but no real shares are bought.
- Stop-loss
- A price set before every buy. If the stock falls to it, the bot sells to keep the loss small.
- Profit target
- A price set before buying where the bot takes its profit.
- Trailing stop
- A stop-loss that moves up as the price rises, so a winning trade keeps most of its gain when it turns.
- Risked
- What the trade would lose if the stop-loss is hit. "Made 2× what it risked" means it won twice that amount.
- Day's average price
- The average price everyone paid today (traders call it VWAP). Trading above it suggests buyers are in control.
- Short / longer trend
- Smoothed lines of the last 9 and 21 minutes of prices (EMA 9 and EMA 21). The short one above the longer one means the price is rising.
- Margin
- Borrowed buying power. The Aggressive bot can buy up to 4× its money, so gains and losses are bigger.
- Worst drop
- The biggest fall from a high point of the account to a later low.
